Common Curriculum

The Common Curriculum is a learning outcomes framework integrated into students’ educational experiences at CU designed to teach students key skills—communication, information literacy, critical thinking—and core habits of mind focused on reflection, engagement, and discovery. Additionally, the CU common curriculum is intended to promote sustainable futures—fostering individual well-being, social equity, long-term economic vitality, and the health of the natural environment—and to ensure graduates can apply sustainable practices. The Common Curriculum will be implemented in fall 2027 for all new students, including first-year and transfer students.

This site will keep the CU °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï community up to date on the progress of the discussion, design and implementation of the Common Curriculum. For questions or feedback, please contact us at commoncurriculum@colorado.edu.
