As an exchange student at CU °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï, you will find a wide range ofÌýÌýavailable to you.Ìý Some exchange programs are specifically designed for a certain area of study, such as Law or Music. Most programs, particularly for undergraduates, are open within the college or school to which the student has been accepted.Ìý
Course Offerings
Individual course descriptionsÌýcan found in theÌý. Not every course listed is offered every semester so when making your selection, check whatÌý.ÌýRegardless of what courses you select, you must meet the prerequisites for each course. Due to course availability, there is no guarantee that you will be able to enroll in all courses you list on your application.
Credit Requirements
All exchange students must be registered with a full-time course load at CU °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï as follows:
- If taking only undergraduate courses (4999 and lower):ÌýStudents must take a minimum 12 credits per semester (max 18 credits)
- If taking only graduate-level courses (5000 and higher):ÌýStudents must take a minimum 5 credits per semester
- If admitted as a graduate student and taking a combination of undergraduate and graduate-level courses:ÌýStudent must take a minimum of 8 credits per semester
Note: Check with your home university to see if they have a higher minimum enrollment requirement. If there is a difference in the minimum enrollment requirement, you must meet whichever minimum is higher.Ìý
CU °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï Schools & Colleges
- College of Arts and Sciences: If you are accepted to theÌýCollege of Arts and Sciences, you will select courses from the catalog taught within that college. In some cases, if you have the appropriate academic background, you may also be able to take courses in other CU °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï schools and colleges.ÌýÌý
- Due to course availability, upper division psychology courses are not available to incoming exchange students.

- College of Engineering and Applied Science: Exchange students must be a declared Engineering major to be eligible to take Engineering classes. You will select courses within EngineeringÌýplusÌýyou may select some courses within the College of Arts and Sciences. If you have the appropriate academic background, you may also be able to take courses in other CU °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï schools and colleges.

Ìý - Leeds School of Business and Administration: Exchange students must be a declared Business major to be eligible to take Business classes. You will select courses within Business plusÌýyou may select some courses within the College of Arts and Sciences. If you have the appropriate academic background, you may also be able to take courses in other CU °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï schools and colleges.
