CU °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï computer science researchers are launching three new interdisciplinary centers to advance artificial intelligence and quantum computing.

Michael McGehee, Chemical and Biological Engineering, and Keith Waters, College of Music, have been recognized with Distinguished Research Lectureships, which are among the most esteemed honors bestowed by the faculty upon a faculty member at CU °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï.

CU °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï has marked a major milestone in construction of its new Chemistry and Applied Mathematics Building. The topping out ceremony recognized completion of the structural frame and the university leaders, project partners, faculty and staff bringing the project to life.

The university was named Sustainability Institution of the Year by the International Green Gown Awards, making CU °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï the first U.S. institution to receive the prestigious international honor.

Fourteen colleges and universities from across the U.S. are the first to earn the brand new Carnegie Elective Classification for Sustainability, following a yearlong pilot program that helped test and shape the classification before its broader launch.
