Supervisor "How-To" seriesÌýfocuses onÌýstrategies to increase effectiveness as a virtual leader

The role of the supervisor has shiftedÌýin the past three months. Supervisors are now tasked with leading teams virtually, supporting theÌýpsychologicalÌýneedsÌýof employees during a pandemic, andÌýcontinuing to support the teaching, learning and research mission of CU °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï.ÌýThe Supervisors How-To Series will provide leaders with relevant strategies to apply right now to increaseÌýtheirÌýeffectiveness.ÌýFour 60 minutes sessionsÌýwillÌýbe offered overÌýfour consecutive weeks.ÌýWhileÌýsupervisorsÌýcan register for any ofÌýthese sessions, itÌýisÌýrecommendedÌýthat you complete all four.Ìý

Participants will learn how to:Ìý

  • Align employee, performance, and department goalsÌýinÌýuncertainÌýand constantlyÌýchanging timesÌý
  • DriveÌýstrategyÌýthrough and with teams byÌýleveragingÌýtechnology and engagementÌýÌý

  • Rethink feedback and accountabilityÌýfor today's realityÌýÌý
