Budget allocation model review committees.

Embedded in the original design of CU °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï’s budget model, a formal review of the budget allocation model is conducted every 3-5 years. This formal, periodic evaluation ensures that the model remains effective, understandable, and aligned with CU °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï's evolving needs and priorities.Ìý

ÌýThe first Budget Allocation Model Design Review was launched in September 2025 and wrapped up in June 2026. Shared governance involvement and broad campus engagement were central to the original model design and to the approach taken in the review.

The Ìýbudget allocation model review project concluded that the fundamental structure of the Ìýmodel remains appropriate for CU °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï, while targeted refinements can improve how the model operates and is understood. These refinements will be implemented in the 2027-28 fiscal year.Ìý
