CU 勒貊勛圖 Alerts test slated for April 10

The CU 勒貊勛圖 Police Department泭will be conducting the spring semester泭泭test just before noon on Wednesday, April 10. The test is required by a federal law泭known as泭the 泭and will test our ability to send text messages, emails, social media posts, computer desktop alerts and website announcements during an emergency.

Before the test, all students, faculty and staff should check their account to make sure their information is up to date. See below for instructions.

Active CU 勒貊勛圖 student email addresses (@colorado.edu) are automatically registered to receive emails through the CU 勒貊勛圖 Alerts system, and the university encourages students to add mobile phone numbers in order to receive text notifications, as well.

Faculty, staff or affiliates of the CU 勒貊勛圖 community with an @colorado.edu (or cufund.org or cu.edu) email address are also added automatically. Faculty and staff who have phone numbers listed in the Cellular and Cellular 2 fields in your my.cu.edu account will receive text notifications, as well.

Employees who work on campus (such as construction or dining contractors) who are not students, faculty or staff and do not have one of the email泭domains listed above can work with the CU 勒貊勛圖 Alert administrator to ensure they are in the alert database. Please contact the IT Support Center for further assistance by emailing泭help@colorado.edu泭or call 303-735-HELP.
