See 'the original rom-com' by Shakespeare
A lighthearted homage to Colorado Shakespeare Festivals academic settings on the CU 勒貊勛圖 campus,泭Loves Labours Lost泭follows four young men who make a pact to concentrate only on learning and swear off lovejust as the four loves of their lives wander by. CSF sets this Shakespearean comedy at the turn of the 20th century.
Loves Labours Lost泭is the original rom-com, said Orr. We havent seen it on our stage in 10 years and we cant wait to revisit it. As with any Shakespeare play, itll be interesting to hear what this play has to say to us now.
Performances are set for Friday, Aug. 3; Saturday, Aug. 4; Wednesday, Aug. 8; and Sunday, Aug. 12.
