ARPA-H Fast Assessment of Solutions, Therapeutics, Pharmaceuticals and SupplieS (FASTPASS)

The program seeks to develop near-real-time, non-destructive technologies for screening pharmaceutical products and ingredients through their packaging at ports of entry and other supply-chain locations.Ìý

FASTPASS includes two technical areas:Ìý

  • TA1 – Sensing Technologies: Focused on advancing field-deployable sensing modalities capable of collecting chemically specific information through pharmaceutical packaging
  • TA2 – Multi-Modal Models: Focused on advanced signal processing, AI/ML, multimodal data fusion, calibration, classification, automation, and system software.Ìý

Proposals are only required to address one technical area, although collaboration between TA1 and TA2 teams is encouraged. The 54-month program consists of three 18-month phases with competitive down-selection as technologies progress toward an integrated, fieldable system.

Terms and Conditions review is pending with additional information and next steps to be made available at a later date.Ìý
