Course Description

The purpose of Becoming an Inclusive LeaderÌýseries is to provide supervisors, managers, leaders, and aspiring leaders at CU °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï with the knowledge and skills to lead their teamsÌýto be more inclusiveÌýandÌýequitable,Ìýas well as the ability toÌýcreate a sense of belongingÌýamong team members.ÌýCU °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï is committed to building a culture on campus where everyone matters.Ìý

Learning Outcomes

• Understand how a leader's lived experiences, identities, biases, and leadership style influence their role as a supervisor/manager in creating an inclusiveÌýenvironment. Select inclusive strategies to support a sense of belonging for their teams.
• Apply inclusive practices to retain and engage direct reports.ÌýExamine ways to increase their intercultural competence.
• Develop inclusive habits for managing performance.

This event is intended for any CU °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï supervisor or aspiring leader who wants to learn more about leading teamsÌýwhere everyone matters.Ìý
