Maria is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. She received her BS in Environmental Engineering and BS in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from the Johns Hopkins University in 2024. She is interested in power systems planning, with her current research focusing on siting and capacity expansion for large loads including interdisciplinary environmental and economic impacts.Ìý

In her free time, she enjoys spending time outside, with friends, and biking!
