Landscape architecture studio works with City of °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï on design challenge
This fall, Instructor Emily Greenwood's senior landscape architecture studio is working with the City of °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï Parks and Recreation Department to design Violet Park in North °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï. On Wednesday, November 6, the class presented their master plans to the client.â Â
Violet Park is adjacent to the °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï Meadow and Ponderosa mobile home communities. The new park design has the potential to manage stormwater, serve a diversity of neighborhoods and be a node of community gathering in this part of °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï.â
Students will be presenting their refined master plans to the community during a public meeting at Crest View Elementary on November 21, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.Â
