After a dominant 2026 season, All-American alpine skierĀ Louison AccambrayĀ (PolSciā26) knows āitās all for the team.āĀ
°Õ³ó±šĢż came down to the final lap of the final race as Colorado chased rival Utah. The Buffs needed to overcome a 7.5-point deficit in the menās 20K freestyle Nordic race, but the Utes ultimately pulled away.
āWe all went down to the track to cheer for the last race. It was sad to lose, but we win together and lose together. We all fought for it,ā said Accambray.
Accambray finished 2026 with 15 podiums, a single-season all-time best for ColoradoāsĀ . The only race she didnāt podium was the one she didnāt finish.
After skiing professionally in Europe and on the French National Team, Accambray joined CU in 2024. She was looking for a team atmosphere.

Fittingly, Accambrayās favorite memory from 2026 recalls her teammates.
āAtĀ RMISA Championships, as soon as I crossed the finish line in giant slalom, my teammates were all around me. We didnāt know my result [first place] yet, but everyone was already hugging each other and so happy.ā
