Ms. Charlet is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Environmental Design Department at the ǸԹ, where she guides the Material Library, leads theBiomodernityLab and teaches architecture and sustainable urban design studios across all levels. Her research is situated at the experimental intersection of transformative design strategies, biogenic materialsystemsand the environment.Ms. Charletholds a Master of Architecture from the Parsons School of Constructed Environments, with a Sustainable Strategies Post-Graduate Certification, and a Master of Science in Design and Urban Ecology from the Parsons School of Design Strategies.

Ms. Charlet has received numerous global grants, fellowships and artist residencies including the 2025 Dr. Milka Bliznakov prize at Virginia Tech, for “Drawing the Unseen: Architectural Narratives of Women Who Shaped Space” where she is embedded within the International Archive of Women to develop a new drawing project. Ms. Charlet has recently presented her research "Undoing Permanence: Biogenic Material Systems and the Post-Industrial Reimagining of Architecture" at the 2025 AHRA conference in Liverpool UK and curated the exhibition Biogenic Futures: Women Shaping Material Ecologies at the CU ǸԹ Art Museum, with a related symposium “Intersectionsand Collaborations:UnpackingMaterial VernacularsofEnvironmental DesignAcross Disciplines” March 2026.

Ms. Charlet was awarded the 2026 Green Faculty award. She is concurrently developing a documentary film "Material Rebels" exploring the systemic underrepresentation of women in regenerative material design. Ms. Charlet will be presenting at the EarthUSA 2026 conference "Building for Decomposition: Designing Architecture's Return to Earth" As wellas, servingas an associate editor for the Biogenic Technology Journals and curating a special collection in 2027/2028. Her work has beenexhibitedat MoMA PS1, the Center for the Built Environment, Storefront for Art and Architecture, and the Urban Institute of Contemporary Art, and is represented in multiple international museum and private collections.
