More °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï students will have the opportunity to gain hands-on research experience, receive personalized mentorship and graduate prepared for meaningful careers that improve well-being for others thanks to a new $2.5 million pledge from alumna Shari Sapp and her husband Rick Sapp.

CU °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï donors made history by contributing more than $282 million, marking the university’s strongest fundraising year to date. With nearly 28,300 donors, including 2,780 first-time supporters, the milestone reflects a growing community united by belief in CU °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï and its future.

Five years ago, Roe Green donated $5 million to support renovations for the Roe Green Theatre. Today, her influence has transformed CU °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï’s Department of Theatre and Dance, creating opportunities for students and helping prepare the theater to welcome audiences for the 2027 Sundance Film Festival.

At this year’s annual ARCS Foundation Colorado gala, the organization honored the °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï’s Leslie Leinwand — founding member and chief scientific officer of the BioFrontiers Institute and distinguished professor of molecular, cellular and developmental biology — for her exceptional career defined by scientific innovation and leadership.

CU °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï alum, Jeremy May, honored his mother with a transformative gift to fund research to help students overcome social anxiety, build connection and thrive, creating a powerful legacy of compassion and impact.

This March, Buffs All In showed the power of collective generosity with a record-breaking $1.5 million raised by almost 3,000 Buffs to empower students, fuel discovery and strengthen impact.
